DRiV has expanded its heavy-duty braking portfolio through its Abex brand, launching a complete air disc brake system to meet growing demand in the commercial truck and off-highway industries.
The expansion, which became official March 30, added air disc brake calipers to Abex’s rotor and pad lineup.
"Commercial vehicle technology is moving fast, and the acceleration of air disc brake adoption is a good example of that shift," said Joseph Saoud, DRiV vice president and general manager for the U.S. and Canada.
According to the company, the integrated components are engineered to work together to ensure consistent performance and support efficient fleet maintenance.
"As air disc brake systems become more prevalent across commercial vehicles, they need aftermarket support they can count on," said Rohit Choudhary, vice president of sales and product for DRiV’s commercial truck and off‑highway division. "Abex has always been that source, and this expansion makes sure it stays that way."
