Prestolite Electric’s IdlePro Extreme 24-volt 250-amp heavy-duty replacement alternator is engineered to withstand demanding applications such as mining and off-highway construction. The high-efficiency high-output 39-pound alternator features a brushless design; the company’s proprietary Auxiliary Draft Cooling for added temperature resistance; a heavy-duty-coated housing to resist corrosion; and the company’s Isolated Ground Technology that helps eliminate stray voltage. It operates at 76 percent efficiency and offers a minimum of 90 percent of the rated maximum output at engine idle speed.
