00:00 This week’s CCJ Tech Shorts features a new fleet performance platform, a new simulation tool for emission reductions, a new Canadian freight tech company and more.

00:22 Yahara Software has launched a new fleet performance platform to help transportation companies improve safety, reduce costs, and run more efficient operations.

FleetFidelity gathers scattered data into one clear view to give fleets actionable insights by linking systems like ELDs, cameras, TMS, SMS, maintenance and compliance tools. This helps teams identify what's working, what isn't, and where savings can be found.

FleetFidelity’s Co-Founder (Laura Omdahl) said, "Fleets don't need more dashboards. They need clarity. We built this platform so teams can stop wasting time juggling spreadsheets and siloed systems and instead focus on making confident, data-backed decisions."

FleetFidelity works alongside a fleet's current systems with a four-step rollout process in which fleets define metrics and set goals, connect and clean up data sources, build custom dashboards and scorecards and monitor performance.

01:16 A new tool designed specifically for the transport fleet industry is now available on the Goodyear truck tires website.

With the Goodyear Value Simulator, fleet managers can input their fleet data and receive instant simulations of potential financial savings and CO2 emission reductions. By considering factors such as transport type, route profile, fleet size, and breakdown frequency, the simulator provides valuable insights into the potential benefits of incorporating Goodyear’s premium truck tires and advanced mobility solutions into fleet operations.

Key features include:

Instant simulations of potential yearly breakdown cost savings; analysis of potential yearly maintenance cost savings; estimation of potential yearly savings in fuel costs; and evaluation of the potential reduction in CO2 emissions based on theoretical fuel consumption by comparing the ratings in fuel efficiency.

Fleet managers can customize their simulations by adjusting parameters such as average yearly distance per vehicle, average fuel consumption and fuel cost. By doing so, they can tailor the results to their specific fleet requirements and objectives. Additionally, based on their selection, the simulator will recommend Goodyear products and solutions that can help achieve potential savings and reduction of CO2 emissions.

02:31 A new freight tech company has launched in an effort to redefine fuel management for Canadian transportation fleets.

Nomad Fuel, founded by the team of industry veterans behind REV Capital – Canada's largest privately held factoring company – leverages smart AI and data-driven insights to help small and medium-sized transportation fleets optimize fuel spending, gain real-time visibility into costs, and unlock long-term savings.

The platform allows fleets to set limits and track transactions with no deposit or monthly fees required.

The platform provides pricing that reflects current market trends and is continuously monitored and updated to reflect the best rate. According to the company’s website, fleets can save up to $600 per month per truck based on $4,000 of fuel consumption per month.

Nomad Fuel’s CEO (Loren Shifrin) said, "Freight tech is evolving at an incredible pace, but fuel management has been left behind. At Nomad Fuel, we're changing that by combining AI with a proprietary fuel network to give transportation companies the tools they need to run leaner, smarter, and more profitably.”

03:36 Freight transportation technology provider SMC3 has a new integration partner in Turvo LLC, the provider of a collaboration application designed for the supply chain.

With this integration, Turvo users can seamlessly access SMC3's comprehensive LTL capabilities through integrated APIs. By automating critical functions such as rating, booking, tracking, and document retrieval, the integration eliminates manual steps and improves operational efficiency and accuracy.

This partnership delivers streamlined shipment execution, real-time visibility, and data-driven decision-making for logistics providers.
