00:00 This week’s CCJ Tech Shorts showcases Drivewyze’s new Expedited Inspection feature, updates from a Samsara partner and more.

00:21 Drivewyze by Fleetworthy has launched a new feature that securely and automatically transfers fleet and vehicle registration data to pre-fill inspection forms while also automating the delivery of a driver’s Electronic Record of Duty Status (eRODS) directly to enforcement.

The feature, called Expedited Inspection, is now available to fleets passing through weigh station sites in Nevada, initially using Geotab or Platform Science electronic logging devices (ELDs). Additional states offering this capability will be announced soon.

By reducing manual data entry and streamlining the transfer of critical inspection data, this solution accelerates roadside inspections, decreases time spent at inspection sites, lowers driver stress and helps reduce the risk of violations, especially those related to failing to produce Hours of Service data, a top 20 violation category.

01:15 Revvo has expanded its partnership with Samsara. The AI-powered tire intelligence and analytics provider has introduced new features built to simplify fleet operations.

Those features include auto-Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. Tire issues like low pressure, tread wear, temperature spikes or leaks now automatically generate DVIRs in the Samsara portal, helping drivers and fleet managers stay compliant and respond faster.

Revvo has also enhanced its notification, allowing fleets to customize and configure which events trigger DVIRs and driver messages. In addition, Revvo has enabled text-to-audio alerts through the Samsara driver app while driving so drivers can get heads-up tire warnings without taking their eyes off the road. And now, tire health data and insights sync directly into Samsara, giving operations teams full visibility within their existing workflows.

02:12 Teletrac Navman, a connected mobility platform for industries that manage vehicle and equipment assets, has extended its contract with location data and technology platform HERE Technologies to provide customers with the most up-to-date driver safety data as a preferred supplier.

Teletrac Navman integrates map data and location services from HERE, including geocoding and search, route matching, map attributes and speed limit data. Using this information, Teletrac Navman TN360 customers can report on events like harsh driving and speeding and use this data for driver safety training and scorecards. Fleet operators can also measure risk and communicate safe driving principles to their drivers. Further, they can record and benchmark driver data, including poor driving behaviors; assign drivers a score based on their performance; and view incidents with safety analytics communicated via post-trip analytics, reports and dashboards.

As part of the collaboration, HERE will include updated attributes, such as road speed limits, low bridges, and road signs, synchronized into safety reports updated more frequently so events are accurately recorded and reported.

03:22 Transfix has expanded its pricing capabilities to now include flatbed for both spot and contract freight, delivering broader access to capacity and streamlined pricing solutions.

For flatbed shipments, customers will benefit from Transfix’s industry expertise in pricing strategies that account for factors like equipment scarcity and project-based shipment clusters.

Brokers also benefit from this expansion, which allows them to leverage Transfix’s technology to confidently price and source flatbed shipments with the same reliability and precision they’ve come to expect for dry van and reefer moves.
