00:00 In this week’s CCJ Tech Shorts, we’ll take a look at a partnership that offers everyday trucking technology to CDL students, a fleet tech provider’s latest expansion and more.

00:22 Trucker Path, a mobile app for North American truckers, has partnered with the National Association of Publicly Funded Truck Driving Schools to connect Trucker Path’s driver technology platform with the organization’s nationwide network of publicly funded CDL training programs.

The organization’s member schools will be able to integrate Trucker Path’s trip planning, navigation and parking availability tools into their classroom and behind-the-wheel training. This initiative gives students first-hand experience with the same data-driven insights professional drivers use daily to plan routes, locate safe parking, and manage time more efficiently.

01:01 AI-powered fleet safety and performance solutions provider Netradyne is opening a new technology innovation center in Nashville, Tennessee. The addition of this office aims to accelerate the development of technological innovation for fleets.

Netradyne said it chose Nashville because of its proximity to customers and the city’s growing technology talent pool. The region boasts double-digit annual tech job growth, more than 60,000 technology jobs and a tech ecosystem valued at over $8 billion.

Netradyne Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, David Julian, said, “Nashville represents the perfect intersection of innovation, talent and transportation. As we continue to scale Netradyne’s AI-powered fleet safety platform, the city’s rapidly growing tech ecosystem and strong resources make it an ideal hub for expanding our engineering, customer success and operations teams.”

01:53 McLeod Software has a new integration partner. Highway, a technology provider that helps freight brokers and logistics service providers verify carrier identity to reduce fraud, has now integrated its real-time tracking and visibility feature, Load Lock+, with McLeod’s PowerBroker.

Through this integration, customers can now leverage 100% ELD-based tracking directly inside McLeod PowerBroker, eliminating manual check-calls and giving teams real-time load updates. They can also use dynamic geofencing and proximity-based tracking to automatically increase tracking frequency near pickup and delivery without manual workflow adjustments. In addition, users can track, monitor, and manage shipments natively inside their McLeod TMS.

02:38 Embedded Works has linked up with Queclink Wireless Solutions to expand its telematics capabilities and target growth within the North American fleet and transportation sectors.

With this collaboration, Embedded Works gains access to a comprehensive range of tracking devices, dashcams, Bluetooth tags and routers. These will be integrated with Embedded Works’ TrackingForLess (TFL) and SensorWorks IoT platforms to deliver advanced and affordable vehicle, equipment, personnel, and edge IoT sensor solutions.

The partnership will allow Embedded Works to extend its hardware options to provide the most complete GPS tracking and monitoring offering. It will also become one of the first telematics solutions providers in North America to offer Queclink’s AI-powered, dual-facing CV5000 dashcam.
