00:00 This week’s CCJ Tech Shorts highlights a new platform for oversize carriers, an integration that aims to simplify freight handling requirements and more.

00:21 Truckstop.com has launched Heavy Haul Load Board Pro, a new platform that aims to help oversize and over-dimensional carriers price and book higher-margin freight with greater accuracy.

The new platform presents these features:

• Load searches filtered specifically for oversize, over-dimensional, and heavy-haul equipment types from the Truckstop.com database

• An expanded search radius up to 1,000+ miles to find the right loads

• Permit requirements, escort needs, and route considerations in one place

• Key details for each load, displayed in the search results to generate fast, accurate rate quotes.

• Access to everything that is already included in Truckstop.com’s Load Board Pro platform

01:03 Carrier Logistics Inc., or CLI, which provides freight management software for Less-Than-Truckload fleets, has integrated with Shiplify. CLI’s TMS now incorporates Shiplify’s location intelligence APIs, giving carriers earlier and more accurate insight into freight handling requirements and associated accessorials at pickup and delivery locations, helping carriers plan equipment and drivers more effectively and providing shippers with accurate quotes before freight is tendered.

This new offering delivers intelligent location insights, including:

• Shiplify’s standard location data and Shiplify API, which provides additional attributes such as dock door availability and other operational details.

• Loading dock and access details, including liftgate or forklift requirements.

• Multi-tenant location intelligence, identifying multiple consignees at the same physical address, along with suite/unit numbers and specific attributes such as dock access or other unique requirements.

02:01 The need for stable AC power continues to accelerate as fleets integrate more electronics, connected devices and in-cab technology. Power management company Eaton recently showcased its True Sine Wave Inverter solutions, which convert 12V DC battery power into the same AC power found at a traditional wall outlet, supporting uptime, productivity and device protection across fleet and equipment applications.

The lineup includes two solutions. Designed for commercial truck and off-highway use, the eMobility True Sine Wave Inverter provides clean AC power and is tested to meet rigorous SAE environmental standards. When land-based power is available, the unit automatically switches from DC power to AC utility power, minimizing battery discharge and eliminating the need for external switching. With an optional 40A internal battery charger and integrated transfer switch, it delivers a complete vehicle AC power solution, ideal for OEMs and heavy-duty applications.

02:57 Hardis Supply Chain has expanded its operations into North America. The supply chain software and technology solutions provider supports core target segments, including retailers, manufacturers and third-party logistics providers.

The Hardis Supply Chain Software Suite includes:

Hardis Warehouse Management System, Hardis Order Management System, Hardis In-Store Logistics, supply chain collaboration platform Hardis SC Network, Transportation Management, Labor Management and WCS Master and Automation Module.
