Massachusetts lawmakers are considering a bill that would ban drivers from passing trash trucks on certain town roads.
State Representative James Arciero, D-Second Middlesex, filed the bill which, if passed, would not allow drivers to exceed more than 15 mph when passing a refuse truck on town roads that do not have a center line and are no more than two lanes wide, according to wwlp.com.
Ten states have passed similar, restrictive passing laws designed to improve traffic safety. Connecticut is currently examining a comparable bill.
