Pickups and some of the world’s coolest supercars weren’t the only stars of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas this week.
A couple of work vans managed to sneak on to the showroom floor.
Ram ProMaster DragMaster is a rolling mechanic’s dream shop. Also equipped to serve as a tow vehicle for a drag racer, DragMaster is also outfitted as a pit vehicle with ample space for tools and parts.
DragMaster sits on concept painted 16-inch wheels and is outfitted with additional production Mopar accessories, including a locking fuel cap and a hitch receiver with trailer tow wiring harness. Other exterior Mopar modifications include a side step, fog lights and wheel locks.
The real stars of this van are the custom shelves and racks that provide a mobile pit stall. The cargo bay is accented by Mopar LED cargo lights. Additional production Mopar accessories include all-weather mats, cargo area floor covering and D-pillar and B-pillar handles. A raised headliner in the cargo area provides extra headroom for racers or crew.
The Ram ProMaster City DiveMaster is a scuba-themed work van designed for those whose work takes them underwater, and an oceanic-theme is prevalent all over the vehicle. (Even the mirror caps are customized with a red and white “diver down” flag.)
The ProMaster City DiveMaster sits on 17-inch concept wheels, and functional Mopar accessories include side rails, a locking fuel cap and wheel locks.
The interior boasts Mopar blue seat inserts and blue stitching on Katzkin leather first- and second-row seats, with Mopar logo embroidery. In the cargo area, custom racks and shelving help organize scuba gear, with a unique spray-on floor liner. The rear doors also double as scuba gear storage space and a TV screen mounting area. Mopar LED lights are mounted in the cargo space. All-weather floor mats are also included.
