A Chevy 366 big block?!
Yes, Chevy produced that engine for its medium and heavy-duty trucks as well as school buses from the 1960s to the mid-1990s.
Roadkill host David Freiburger takes a closer look at a 366 that’s mounted in a 1969 Chevy C50 dump truck.
Roadkill, which has built a big fan base by seeking out rat rods and hot rods across the country, has now “developed a fetish for medium and heavy-duty trucks,” according to its latest YouTube video shown below.
Freiburger in his normal fired-up and encyclopedic style (his frame of reference alone is pretty captivating) does a great job talking up the C50 and pitching it as an ideal 4×4 build. Once the hood comes up, Freiburger gives a detailed lesson on the 366 and its ties to the 396 and 427.
