Wabash secures 3,100-dry van order from Swift

Wabash National Corp. on Tuesday, March 9, confirmed a three-year purchase agreement with Swift Transportation that calls for building 3,100 new DuraPlate HD dry vans over the next 12 months. Production for the 3,100 units will begin at the end of March.

“Our goal is to continue to offer our customers the most reliable and efficient equipment, so that they experience outstanding overall performance from Swift Transportation,” says Richard Stocking, president and chief operating officer of Phoenix-based Swift. “We believe the DuraPlate HD from Wabash National is the best trailer equipment option to help us achieve that goal.”
