Truckload Academy will host an audio conference this month on cash-flow management and how carriers can analyze their current situation to ultimately improve profitability and reduce waste. The conference, entitled “How to Manage Cash Flow,” is scheduled for 12 noon to 2 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, July 17.
Leading the audio conference will be Kenneth DeWitt, Bryan Finison and Ray Dyer Jr. of accounting and financial planning firm DeWitt & Dyer, as well as Avery Vise, editorial director of Commercial Carrier Journal. DeWitt and Finison co-authored “How to Manage Cash Flow,” one of a series of business management manuals published by Small Carrier University in conjunction with the Truckload Carriers Association’s Truckload Academy.
Topics to be covered during this two-hour session include understanding the cash flow statement, understanding cash cycles, forecasting cash flow, accelerating cash collections and timing disbursements. Attendees will also learn how to develop a comprehensive cash management strategy that is right for their company.
The registration fee is $99 per site, and you can have as many individuals as you would like to participate from your company per site. Materials will be distributed to each site prior to the audio conference and cassette tapes will be available for purchase after the event.
