International Truck and Engine Corp. announced that a maintenance information service used by its network of dealers is now available for fleets. The International Service Information Solutions (ISIS) is a comprehensive suite of Web-based services and information, such as technical publications and a comprehensive list of all service and repair information on vehicles. The service includes service manuals, service bulletins and operating manuals. The database maintains a detailed mechanical history of all International vehicles through inter-connectivity with all International dealers.
By entering the VIN number, a technician can access warranty information, the service history of a vehicle, the previous owner and the contract service history.
International is offering ISIS to fleets on a subscription basis based on the number of shop locations. For one location, the cost is $750 annually.
