ALK Technologies announced the release of PC Miler 16, a routing, mileage and mapping application, and a street-level application, PC Miler/Streets 16. PC Miler 16 features an expanded routing database, including additional road miles and access ramps. The new version includes 42,000, year-2002 U.S. zip codes and 76,000 additional highway miles.
PC Miler 16 also features a 53-foot Trailer Routing option that incorporates legal road designations for 53-foot trailers. CAT Weigh Scale stations are now displayed on the map and can be routed to and from. A new Import Custom Places feature allows users to customize their database by adding company-specific locations.
PC Miler/Streets 16 took on an identical features update to PC Miler 16 with street-level database enhancements. The new version added 100,000 streets and 14 million new addresses, improving the database to now include over six million street-level miles.
