NPTC announces appointments

Charlie Rottmund, chairman of the National Private Truck Council, announced that the organization has elected a new vice chair and appointed three new members to its board of directors.

Matthew Peterson, a manager of national account sales for Mack Leasing System, was elected vice chair. Previously, Peterson served as chairman of the third party provider division of the NPTC board of directors.

Lance Bertram has been appointed to take Peterson’s place as chairman of the third party provider division. Bertram is the vice president of marketing at Idealease of North America.
Rick Foster, director of private fleet safety for Wal-Mart Stores, has been appointed to the board of directors as chairman of the legislative and regulatory advisory committee.

Debra Stone has been named chair of the conference planning committee. Stone is the corporate logistics operations manager at McKee Foods Corp.
