Die-Cast Promotions, Dubuque, Iowa, has teamed up with Trucker Buddy International and Mike Ryan Motorsports to introduce the first 1:64 die-cast replica of the 2001 Freightliner Century Class ST that Ryan has driven to five wins at Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb.
Proceeds will go to Trucker Buddy, a non-profit organization that matches professional drivers with elementary classrooms in an effort to enhance education in a fun environment. The price will be $55 plus shipping for three pieces (the transporter Freightliner, the trailer and the race truck). They can be ordered from Trucker Buddy, at (800) MY-BUDDY or [email protected]. Although the units won’t be mailed until August, prospective buyers can see them at Die-Cast’s booth (#7106) at the Mid-America Trucking Show this month in Louisville, Ky.
