Great Dane introduced its new i-Van at MATS Thursday. The i-Van uses a new foam press method for better trailer insulation.
“This will be the trailer of choice for trucking companies that use semi-insulated and heater box vans,” said Chris Adkins, Great Dane senior vice president of sales and marketing.
The i-Van combines the traditional sheet-and-post construction of a van with the press-panel insulated technology of a reefer, eliminating the traditional method of spraying urethane insulation and then shaving it by hand.
