TravelCenters of America recently unveiled new regional menus for their sit-down restaurants.

The new menus were created after TA held focus groups to find out professional drivers’ preferences. TA worked with a culinary company to create the new tastes, then allowed drivers to sample the dishes and utilized their feedback to finalize the new menus.

The new menus reflect regional specialties; there are versions for the Northeast, South, Midwest, Southwest and Northwest.

Among the almost 50 new items are the Yankee pot roast and blackberry cobbler in the Northeast, the fried catfish and juicy fried chicken in the South, the charbroiled hamsteak and loaded baked potato soup in the Midwest, the enchiladas and tortilla soup in the Southwest and the grilled salmon salad in the Northwest.
