Ryder System and Instructional Technologies Inc. have struck a deal under which Ryder will market and distribute an Internet-based version of ITI’s Tread-1 interactive driver training program.
The program – based on the federally approved Professional Truck Driver Institute curriculum and aimed at both new and veteran drivers – includes training in defensive driving, driver wellness, driver qualifications and hours of service, among other areas.
Ryder will market the ITI system under the name Ryder Pro-Tread through www.rydersafetyservices.com, a division of Ryder.
