The Truckload Carriers Association’s next audio conference explores trends in owner-operator litigation regarding alleged violations of the truth-in-leasing regulations.

The seminar will focus on practices and circumstances that are challenged most often, including equipment lease purchase arrangements, chargebacks, escrow/reserve accounts, cargo and property damage claims and insurance and fuel purchased through or from the carrier.

Jim Sullivan, who chairs the Transportation Law Group at Shughart Thomson & Kilroy in Kansas City, Mo., will lead the presentation and field questions from participants.

The audio conference is scheduled for 12 noon to 1:30 Eastern time on Wednesday, Aug. 17. Registration is $129 per site for TCA members and $159 for nonmembers.
