ATA thanks drivers with free phone cards

In celebration of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (Aug. 21-27), the American Trucking Associations is giving 60-minute telephone calling cards to more than 20,000 truck drivers. Captains of America’s Road Team will distribute the cards to drivers passing through weigh stations, rest stops and travel plazas along the nation’s busiest truck lanes in 17 states. Various state trucking associations also will distribute the cards at their annual appreciation events.
