Thermo King, a manufacturer of transport-temperature control systems, has formed a partnership with heater manufacturer Espar Products for a product line of independent heater systems for a variety of applications.
The systems are designed to provide bunk and cab heat, engine pre-heat, bus heat and cargo heat, eliminating the need to idle the truck for heat. Most models are available in 12- or 24-volt versions, and no electrical plug-ins are necessary.
Espar heaters are engineered to be lightweight and compact, utilizing advanced electronics such as an electronic speed control, built-in diagnostics and a microprocessor-based controller.
