J.J. Keller and Associates has introduced an enhanced version of Log Checker, the software that helps transportation professionals automate the task of auditing drivers’ logs for compliance with FMCSA hours-of-service regulations.
A major new feature of the software is the addition of automatic home-page alerts providing key information like current top 10 hours-of-service violators, critical violations and drivers with falsifications and missing logs. These alerts allow users to review violations with drivers and help managers and dispatchers determine who is available to drive.
Other new features include built-in regulatory content and search tools to aid in information searches; a driver point system to help evaluate and grade drivers; a 34-hour restart option; and enhanced reporting capabilities.
As with earlier versions of the software, users can enter hours-of-service data into the software in order to eliminate manual log auditing.
