The new Touch Screen Graphic User Interface (GUI) from FastPic Systems is designed to provide complete inventory control in vehicle part management, storage and retrieval applications.
The fully integrated touchscreen controls eliminate the need for any additional hardware or components, the company says, providing employees with immediate access to stored items and increasing throughput and employee accuracy.
With the GUI, transportation users can store and retrieve items from vertical lift modules and vertical carousels with a simple, user-friendly touchscreen interface. The screen allows for automatic retrieval and storage of items, while the software tracks inventory levels per stock keeping unit (SKU) per location. Locations can be reallocated as needed.
The touchscreen user interface harnesses FastPic IC software’s advanced inventory management tools to reduce inventory requirements, improve operator productivity, increase order-picking accuracy, maximize floor-space utilization and control inventory access, providing vehicle part organizations with enhanced profitability, the company says.
