A full overnight closure of the southbound span of the Interstate Bridge from Vancouver, Wash., to Portland, Ore., is planned.

All lanes of southbound I-5 will be closed at the Interstate Bridge between 10 p.m. PDT Saturday, Sept. 10 and 7 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 11.

During the overnight closure period, maintenance crews from both the Oregon and Washington Departments of Transportation (ODOT and WSDOT) will perform work on or adjacent to the bridge.

All northbound lanes of I-5 will remain open at all times. In addition, in Oregon, all on- and off-ramps in both directions of I-5 will remain open at all times.

Motorists traveling on I-5 south who are bound for Portland or points south will take I-205 south to I-84 west or continue on I-205 to the I-5 interchange south of Tualatin.

Vancouver area drivers can take State Route 500 east or State Route 503 east to I-205 south.
