Stemco — a Longview, Texas-based provider of heavy-duty truck and trailer wheel end products — has added a new fuel-logging feature to its recently released Bat RF technology products. The company says the new feature allows fleet operators to track and monitor fuel usage more accurately.

With the new fuel-logging feature, operators can use the HandBat RF reader to log actual fuel gallons pumped. This data then can be synchronized with a precise mileage reading from the HandBAT to provide complete fuel mileage data, improving administrative efficiency and reducing administrative costs while providing fleet management with timely information to better manage their vehicle fuel costs, according to Stemco.

Stemco’s Bat RF products are designed to save fleets time and money by using advanced sensor technologies and radio frequency identification (RFID) to collect and communicate critical data on vehicle condition and maintenance.
