Saia announces sales management moves

Saia — a Duluth, Ga.-based LTL carrier — has announced several regional sales management appointments.

Larry Mohr has been named region manager of sales and operations for the Houston region. Mohr will oversee terminal operations and sales in areas of Texas and Louisiana.

Mike Thomason has been named region manager of sales and operations for Saia’s Dallas region. Thomason will oversee terminal operations in areas of Texas and Arkansas. Thomason has more than 25 years experience in the transportation industry.

Russ Boullion has been named regional sales manager for the carrier’s Sacramento, Calif. region. Boullion, who will oversee sales responsibilities at California and Nevada terminals, has seven years of professional experience and was a President’s Club winner for top sales in the company in 2004.

Brenda James has been named regional sales manager for the Houston region. She will oversee sales initiatives for terminals in areas of Texas and Louisiana. James has been an integral part of the Saia sales team in the region and has more than 11 years with the company, most recently as a business development executive. She is a member of the President’s Club and was a Best In Class winner in 2004.
