Dart Transit recently purchased a truck-driving simulator from the Texas Motor Transportation Association.
Dart Transit President Dave Oren said the simulator will give drivers the opportunity to hone their driving skills and promote the trucking industry. It also will be used as a Highway Watch program classroom. The simulator also would be available to other carriers or companies with private fleets for safety training, Oren said.
