The Agricultural and Food Transporters Conference, an affiliate of the American Trucking Associations, will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Monday, Oct. 17, with a reception at the Boston Marriott Hotel.
The AFTC reception coincides with the annual ATA Management Conference and Exhibition, scheduled for Saturday-Tuesday, Oct. 15-18.
“AFTC has grown exponentially over the past 10 years and takes pride in its achievements,” said Greg Owen, AFTC chairman. “We have a strong record of representing the interests of our members before the government, private industry and affiliated trade associations and will be recognizing these accomplishments during our celebration.”
Over the past decade, AFTC has grown from 12 member companies to about 500. During the reception, AFTC will recognize six charter members: Wallace Transport, Teresi Trucking Co., Cherokee Freight Lines, Ed Rocha/Valley Enterprise, V-Y Trucking Co. and Walpole Transportation.
