J.B. Hunt Transport Services has made a $10 million donation to the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville for construction of a new center. The gift was the largest ever made by the company to the university.

The $30 million center will house interdisciplinary programs and departments and will be named the J.B. Hunt Transport Services Incorporated Center for Academic Excellence if the university’s board approves the name, according to the Associated Press.

Last spring, J.B. and Johnelle Hunt — founders of the Lowell, Ark.-based trucking company — made a $5 million donation toward construction of the center.
