Sacramento Kenworth has opened a large, new state-of-the-art facility as part of its continuing goal of being the best transportation solution provider in its California market.
A member of Kenworth’s dealer network of nearly 300 locations in the United States and Canada, Sacramento Kenworth recently moved from its former location and now is situated on nearly six acres in a new 40,000-square-foot facility near Interstate 80. Sacramento Kenworth dealer principal Tom Bertolino and his business partner, Harry Mamizuka, have made a significant investment in the new facility.
Earlier this year, Sacramento Kenworth — along with its sister location Bay Area Kenworth — was named 2004 Kenworth Dealer of the Year for the United States and Canada.
“Sacramento Kenworth and its employees are dedicated to exceeding customer expectations and being the best transportation solution provider possible for customers,” Bertolino says. “We made a significant investment in making the move from our former facility, enabling us to double our service department capability and expand the parts department to further enhance our ability to take care of customers’ transportation needs.”
In addition to a full line of Kenworth heavy- and medium-duty trucks, Sacramento Kenworth offers other customer support services including 20 service bays; a mobile, emergency roadside service vehicle; alignment center; body shop; and a parts department with applications for most makes of trucks. The dealership also offers a driver’s lounge equipped with wireless Internet service, DirecTV and phones.
Sacramento Kenworth’s new facility targets vocational businesses, on-highway fleets, owner-operators and local operators in various medium-duty applications.
