Red Dot Corp. has named Carey Suto manager of procurement services and Heather Graham manager of aftermarket customer service.

Based in Seattle, Red Dot designs and produces heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems and replacement parts for commercial trucks, sleeper cabs, buses, construction and off-highway equipment, and military vehicles.

As manager of procurement services, Suto is responsible for planning and managing the supply of materials for Red Dot’s original equipment manufacturing operations. He previously was with Ampco Manufacturers, a maker of lighting products, switches and vehicle graphics, where he managed accounts for two commercial truck producers. Before Ampco, Suto spent 22 years at a commercial truck manufacturer, including nine years in a purchasing/supply chain management role and 13 years in sales and marketing.

“Red Dot is a vertically integrated manufacturer, meaning we can design, build, test and assemble the components that comprise our HVAC products,” says Randy Gardiner, president of Red Dot. “Carey’s experience in both purchasing and sales is a valuable asset. He understands the important role of procurement in productivity, product quality and reducing customer lead times.”

As manager of aftermarket customer service, Graham reports to marketing manager Robert Gardiner.

“Efficient, effective customer service has a direct impact on our relationship with our family of distributors,” Gardiner said. “Heather has an outstanding track record as a team builder and a communicator in business-to-business industrial supply, and she knows how to treat customers who count on you to keep their operations up and running. We’re excited to have her onboard.”

Graham previously was customer service manager for Seattle-based W.W. Grainger, a Fortune 500 company and a supplier of maintenance and repair products.
