AmeriQuest Transportation and Logistics Resources has promoted Roger Welling to senior vice president of leasing operations. Welling, previously vice president of national sales, replaces Frank Daley, who is pursuing an entrepreneurial opportunity within the transportation industry.
Welling, who has been with AmeriQuest since 2003, has 20 years of experience in the transportation industry, including a 16-year career at Ryder System. He will remain AmeriQuest’s head of national accounts.
“Roger is equipped with the tools and the know-how to continue to grow our leasing operations,” says Doug Clark, president and chief executive officer of AmeriQuest. “I have no doubt he will fulfill the goals of AmeriQuest and do a tremendous job of positioning the independent lessor as the premier alternative in the full-service lease industry.”
