Less-than-truckload carrier Saia has promoted Tim Lombardo to director of computer operations. Lombardo, who will be based at Saia’s Atlanta corporate office, joined Saia more than four years ago, most recently serving as a manager in the carrier’s technology department in the general office in Houma, La. He has 12 years computer-related experience, with an extensive background in technology and operations.
“The promotion of Tim Lombardo to director continues our mission to offer customers industry-leading technological services,” said Mark Robinson, chief information officer for SCS Transportation, Saia’s parent company. “Promoting within, we can ensure that our customers and employees have the best resources available making important day-to-day decisions.”
