Alon USA and Petro Stopping Centers have formed a joint venture for constructing and operating a new signature Petro Stopping Center in Midland, Texas. The facility is scheduled to open in the first half of 2007.
Together, Alon USA and Petro will design and construct the travel center, which will include an Iron Skillet restaurant, a Petro:Lube truck service center, a Petro Travel Store, overnight truck parking and driver amenities. Petro will be responsible for the center’s primary operation, while Alon USA will be responsible for the fuel supply and will operate the 7-Eleven convenience store within the complex.
