Landstar System has named Alisha Grimes as March Employee of the Month at its Jacksonville, Fla. service center; and Kathy Panozzo as March Employee of the Month at its Rockford, Ill. service center.
Grimes is an operations coordinator for the company’s Landstar Express America subsidiary. She was nominated for the award by eight different members of management, spanning across both Landstar’s carrier group and global logistics group of companies. Grimes, who joined Landstar in July 2004, lives in Jacksonville.
Panozzo, a customer services coordinator in freight operations, joined Landstar in March 2005. Since that time, Panozzo has won acclaim for her ability to resolve issues on behalf of the independent agents and business capacity owners who provide Landstar with transportation capacity. She lives in Loves Park, Ill.
