The Technology and Maintenance Council has announced that Mark Williams, TMC’s manager of Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards & FleetPortal Services, died Tuesday morning, April 18.
Williams joined the TMC staff in 2003 and during his brief time brought many improvements to VMRS. Prior to joining TMC, Williams had a long and distinguished career with Volvo Trucks North America. Over the years, he also contributed to numerous industry initiatives.
For TMC members wishing to pay their respects, visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 20 in the Central Baptist Church, 1715 Highway 68 North, Oak Ridge, N.C. 27310. A funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. A private burial service will be held for family members at 11 a.m. Friday, April 21.
