The Transportation Sales and Marketing Association (TSMA) awarded XTRA Lease a first-place prize in its division for the 2006 XTRA Lease wall calendar, “Playing to Win.” The calendar features a sports theme that includes highway size and weight equipment guidelines, equipment facts and more. TSMA also awarded XTRA Lease a third-place honor for its advertising campaign, “Going the XTRA Mile,” which offers readers free booklets to help companies with their business operations, such as “Six Strategies to Combat the Driver Shortage” and “Eight Strategies to Combat the Fuel Shortage.”

In other industry competition, the Transportation Marketing and Communications Association (TMCA) honored XTRA Lease with two Awards of Merit for its calendar and advertising campaign in TMCA’s annual Compass Awards program. And in a national marketing program, the Business Marketing Association recognized XTRA Lease’s advertising campaign with an Award of Excellence in its 31st Annual Pro-Comm Awards competition. The competition accepts entries from multiple industries and honors only campaigns judged to be the best of the year.
