Lafayette, La.-based Dupre Transport has sold its over-the-road van package fleet to Murray, Ky.-based Paschall Truck Lines. Dupre retains its Dupre Logistics and Dupre Tank business units. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
“Paschall wants and needs all of our van package fleet personnel to run the business and welcomes them to the company,” says Tom Voelkel, Dupre president and chief operating officer. “We will work together for a smooth transition for the benefit of our customers, our team members and Paschall. In addition, this improves our balance sheet and positions us as an even stronger and more financially sound logistics provider.”
