Donaldson Co. has expanded application coverage of its Donaldson Endurance Plus family of oil filtration products, designed to reduce oil usage by as much as 50 percent for heavy-duty, on-road truck owners. The company currently covers Caterpillar, Cummins and Detroit Diesel engines, and now has made filters available for Mack and Volvo diesel engines.
Introduced in 2004, the Donaldson Endurance Plus extended oil filtration solution uses a built-in additive replenishment technology designed to extend oil and oil-filter life significantly longer than conventional oil filters. Designed for on-highway line-haul truck fleets, large fleets sensitive to operation costs, emissions-compliant EGR engines and non-EGR diesel engines, the Donaldson Endurance Plus solution is built with Synteq Filtration Media, which the company says is highly effective in removing the smallest contaminants.
