The Great American Trucking Show, held at the Dallas Convention Center on Aug. 24-26, played host to 45,914 attendee registrants, with 560 of the top companies in trucking on display, according to the show’s organizers. Attendance at GATS 2006 marked a 2.2 percent attendance growth over 2005, and a three-year attendance increase of 15 percent, show organizers say.

For the second consecutive year, GATS has been named to Trade Show Week magazine’s “Fastest 50,” which lists the 50 fastest-growing trade shows in the United States; GATS is the only trucking event to be honored with this distinction, according to show organizers. GATS also once again was honored as one of the magazine’s “Top 200,” which ranks the top trade shows from all industries.

GATS 2007 will be held Aug. 23-25 in Dallas. For more information, go to www.gatsonline.com.
