Schneider Logistics, an international lead logistics provider and part of the Schneider National enterprise, announced today, Nov. 29, the promotion of Tyler Ellison to vice president and general manager of Schneider Transportation Management. Schneider says the appointment underscores the company’s continued focus on delivering a broad portfolio of transportation solutions to meet the capacity needs of its customers.

In his new role, Ellison is responsible for the effective delivery to market of the company’s brokerage, special event management and single source transportation service offerings. “Over the past 10 years, Tyler has earned tremendous respect within the organization and has proven his ability to deliver results that directly impact our growth and that of our customers,” says Tom Escott, president of Schneider Logistics. “We are confident he will continue to develop creative ways to meet customers’ needs and expand the Schneider Transportation Management line of business.”

Prior to his recent promotion, Ellison was vice president of the Global Client Group at Green Bay, Wis.-based Schneider National, where he directed a group of sales leaders focused on meeting the global supply chain needs of large multinational customers.
