Louis DeVivo, president of Dattco for 44 years, has announced that he will turn over his role to his son, Donald. Louis DeVivo will retain his position as chairman of the board and chief executive officer, and Cliff Gibson, currently director of business development, will assume Donald DeVivo’s current role as chief operating officer of the New Britian, Conn-based company.

“I feel it is time to turn the reins over to the next generation,” says Louis DeVivo. “The company has grown significantly over the past few years, and we feel that this new management structure will continue that growth. My new position will allow me to better oversee the strategic vision of the company while stepping back from the daily operations. I have complete confidence in Donald and Cliff, and we all look forward to the prosperous future of the company as the entire Dattco team works together to provide exceptional service for our customers.”
