F.T. Silfies, a regional mid-Atlantic dry bulk carrier, has announced the hiring of Rebecca Cianci as director of human resources. Cianci joins F.T. Silfies from PF1 Professional Services in Tampa, Fla.
“Rebecca is the consummate human resources professional with a diverse background in business, as well as serving as a civilian lecturer to the Marine Corps,” says Randy Sheeler, president and chief executive officer of the Nazareth, Pa.-based company. “She also has a teaching background and is the author of several published documents and books on management and entrepreneurship, which will support our training needs as we grow.”
