The 44th annual Mid-West Truck Show will be held Feb. 2 and 3 at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Ill. Organizers say the show will be packed with displays, programs and exhibitors to help trucking companies move ahead in a complex market while facing the challenges of an uncertain economy and increased costs.

According to organizers, the 2007 edition of the show at the civic center, located off Interstate 74 in downtown Peoria, provides ample truck access and parking. Attendees will see displays of the newest tractors, trailers, engines, parts, accessories, communication and computer equipment, tires, lubricants, services and much more.

Representatives of all state and federal government agencies that deal with the trucking agency will be available, and there also will be product demonstrations, door prizes and special show prizes for those in attendance. Hours for the Mid-West Truck Show — held in conjunction with the annual convention of the Mid-West Truckers Association — will be Feb. 2, noon to 8 p.m.; and Feb. 3, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Last year’s show was attended by more than 7,000 trucking company owners and operators. For more information, write to Don Schaefer, executive vice president, Mid-West Truckers Association, 2727 N.
