CFI announced Tuesday, Jan. 2, that Alejandro Ortiz has been promoted to sales director for Mexico. CFI, based in Joplin, Mo., interlines with Mexican carriers at various border crossings to provide through-trailer service to Mexico.
Ortiz, who will be headquartered in Mexico City, has been involved in the transportation industry for more than 17 years, including experience working for Emery Worldwide, Central Transport and MS Carriers. He most recently served as regional sales manager for Mexico D.F., a position he had held since 2001.
