Ryan W. DeArment has been promoted to the new position of director of national accounts for Channellock. DeArment served most recently as special projects manager for the hand-tool manufacturer.

“I am very pleased to see Ryan move into the national account, sales and marketing arena for Channellock,” says Bill DeArment, president and chief executive officer of Meadville, Pa.-based Channellock. “He demonstrates a calm, focused, dedicated and driven approach to sales and marketing. These characteristics will serve him well.”

Ryan DeArment will have responsibility for Channellock house accounts and some national retail accounts such as The Home Depot, Lowe’s, Sears/Kmart, Snap-On, Mac Tools, Cornwell Tools and Ideal Industries.

“Ryan’s past experience at Channellock has positioned him well to move forward in this crucial role with the company,” says Scott Jonap, vice president of sales and marketing. “I’m convinced that his knowledge of our product line, commitment to the brand and demonstrated sales experience will prove strong assets as he begins his new role at Channellock.”
