Two building supply haulers select CEI

The CEI Group, a provider of accident and risk management services to vehicle fleets, has announced that it has been selected by building supply companies Ferguson Enterprises and Stock Building Supply to provide collision management and subrogation services. The contracts were secured by George Major, senior regional sales manager and a 12-year veteran of Trevose, Pa.-based CEI.

Both companies are owned by Theale, England-based Wolseley PLC, a worldwide distributor of plumbing and heating supplies. Combined, the two U.S. companies operate fleets of more than 15,000 vehicles, including sedans, light and heavy-duty trucks, and truck trailers.

Ferguson has more 22,000 associates in more than 1,300 service centers located in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and Mexico. Ferguson is ranked by trade publications as the largest U.S. distributor of plumbing supplies and pipe, valves and fittings. Ferguson, headquartered in Newport News, Va., also is the third-largest distributor of heating and cooling equipment.

Stock Building Supply, of Raleigh, N.C., is the largest supplier of building materials to professional home builders and contractors in the United States. Stock Building Supply operates 314 locations in 33 states.
