Cole Hersee designs tough rocker switch

Cole Hersee says its rugged Sigma Rocker Switch, ideally suited for trucking applications, is a low-current input membrane switch that is compatible with microprocessor-based electrical/electronic systems and has the look and feel of a conventional rocker switch.

The Sigma Rocker comes with LED backlighting, and its silicone rubber actuator can be customized by the company using laser-etching technology. Options include custom colors, imprint and graphics, as well as the shape and location of the LED lens; the actuator shape is variable. The Sigma switch also is water-resistant and is suitable for use in adverse conditions.
