KLLM Transport Services recently received the Hunger’s Hero Award from the Mississippi Food Network in recognition of its leadership in the network’s effort to alleviate hunger in the state. Earlier in the year, KLLM donated a 53-foot refrigerated trailer to the network to be used in the distribution of food across the state.

Jim Richards, chief operating officer of Richland, Miss.-based KLLM, accepted the award from Floyd Sulser, chairman of the Mississippi Food Network board.
