Random drug, alcohol testing rates updated

The Department of Transportation has announced the 2007 random drug and alcohol testing rates for the various modes of transportation.

The rates for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration will remain at 50 percent for drugs and 10 percent for alcohol. The Federal Transit Adminstration has reduced its random drug testing rates from 50 percent to 25 percent.
